It seems that card is causing problems with Snow Leopard (when I try to install drivers for it, the OS will not boot), so I've been thinking about selling it and getting a card that is more compatible. Considering that this card gave me problems, what card - in the $200-$300 price range - would be more likely to work? Hackintosh2000 Posted June 30, 2011 Share Posted June 30, 2011 I don't know if you can still get your hands on a new one but the nVidia GTX 260 works flawlessly with my system with just GraphicsEnabler=Yes and the latest Chimera. It also worked with every Chameleon build I tried. It works in 10.6.3-10.6.8 and Lion DP4. toitle Posted July 8, 2011 Share Posted July 8, 2011 I agree, out of all the cards I have ever used the GTX260 is by far the most stable card and still pretty respectable. A 280 would be great but they seem even harder to find these days.
