Hello,

I am having a problem after installing OSX86 on a HP A1250N computer. It uses the MSI-7184 motherboard. I have had success installing XXX 10.5.6 as well as ideneb 10.5.8 Lite but only get a resolution of 1024x768. When I add a kext for my card which is EVGA Geforce GS8400 512mb upon reboot the computer goes to the gray apple screen which shows the progress wheel turning. After about a minute it freezes. After that I have to reinstall the OS again as no restarts get past that point. If I install either distribution with a video kext at the customize menu the freeze will happen again. Apparently it only works if I don't install any kexts for the video card.

Another time I ran verbose mode to see what was causing the freeze but as soon as it gets to the point with the information showing the issue the computer then shuts down so it is hard to see what exactly was causing the error.

I did some googling as well as checking this forum but could not find anything similar to what my problem is. I know this isn't alot to go on but I'm at work so can't give you alot of information to go on. I do know that I used the nviject 512mb when installing and kexthelper when attempting to install kext after OS installation. If anymore information is needed please let me know and I will reply with it as soon as I am home and have access to it. Thanks in advance.
