Justinx89x
I am stuck at this part of the darwin installation. After I type in the command "Auto HFS" I recieve this error, "fdisk(17) malloc: *** Deallocation of a pointer not malloced: 0x100010; This could be a double free(), or free() called with the middle of an allocated block; Try setting enviroment variable MallocHelp to see tools to help debug." I tryed installing using a UFS partition on the drive. But after the install the drive will not boot with an error that says something on the lines of, "Cannot boot UFS partition". Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/261-auto-hfs-problem/ Share on other sites

Fuzzlet
after it gives you that error.. type: update write setpid 1 then set it to AF update write quit That should make it bootable.
