ASUS RAMPAGE GENE II (with all lastest bios update as of yesterday) 16GB OF RAM. 750GB HDD SATA DVDRW SATA 8800GTX VIDEO CARD. ---------------------------------- http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=201758 so i followed everyone instructions on this site to load macosx on my system. i only install 1x2gb stick of ram. disabled j-micro. enabled AHCI, set my cpu to 1. what my problem is i load the EFI-Empire disk no problem, loads my mac osx software but where it freezes at. is when i format the hdd to Guid- Extented Journal. it freezes in the middle of its formats.... i tryed different cds.. (EFI,[url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url], MAC software)i also changed hdd,keyboard,mouse,dvd drive... and running it in safemode. and still the some problem freezes right in the middle of formating... i don't know if anyone had to problem before. i am a bit new to this world. but i also loaded Mac OSX on my Asus G1S laptop with no problems. if anyone ran into this problem and they know a fix. i would greatly appreciate. Thanks for the info. but got it to work finally!!! i had to use like three different forum pages to make this happen.. so now my next problem , is i remember using an tool to install kext. on my asus g1s notebook. is it still out there?? because when i try to install my kext it keeps giving me an error message and trying to find a app to install it..... again the kext is coming from here http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=201758 downloaded RIIG.kext and DSDT. so i need help on how to upload those two files. my head is tired from looking to forum to forum and i also tried to install it though the terminal.. but also got error messages. thanks again for any info.
