snowleopardfan
Hi! I'd like to install mac os x snow leopard on an external drive via usb because Disk Utility doesn't read the HDD in IDE mode. (I should use RAID, but Windows wouldn't work). So, I'd like to know if it's worth doing that and if Acronis OS Selector will read both OS at startup. (I've already checked the hardware, and it should work fine with Snow). Thanks!
ravagilli
You can install OS X on an external USB drive, my Lion testing OS is on one, not sure about firewire because i havent tested that. Im unsure on wether you may run into problems with the drive been IDE though, i would definately recommend using SATA.
