harryhimanshu
Guys I installed MAC OS X 10.6.2 (server client)[LeoHazard] on my PC. After the insane process, I finally managed to successfully boot. But after the installation, I found out that there was no SOUND! I need some help. I tried VoodooHDA. But no results. My config: Intel C2D E8400 MSI P7NGM 730i mobo. (Audio- Realtek-ALC888) 3GB DDR2 800MHz RAM 500GB HDD 19' Viewsonic monitor. Razer Abyssus. I installed my MAC on an external HDD (IOmega eGO). SvenCop
http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=188349 In the first post download the .zip in the attachment. Drag the .kext into your /System/Library/Extensions or /Extra/Extensions and boot with -f. That should solve your problem. Kurculja
Thanks for the help but the sound is still not working even after booting with -f. Use Vanila install. With distros you get bunch of {censored} IMHO. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/260794-no-sound/#findComment-1705335 Share on other sites

It's easily the best if your going for a Retail install, which is the preferred method of installing these days. But theres no problem with distros either (iAtkos, Leohazard, iPC, etc). As for your keyboard, install the latest version of Chameleon from tonymacx86's blog, then drop the VoodooPS2 kext in your /Extra/Extensions folder. LeoHazard comes default with an outdated PC EFI I believe. Some kexts only work when in /E/E. grande juventino
Hey I have the same motherboard. I am totally new to this and have not experimented yet. What kind of problems have you faced with this mobo in osx86? Have you tried any later versions of Snow Leopard? What method did you use to install OSx86? Thanks in advance!
