I'm planning to build a new rig over the summer, and I'd like to have OSx86 compatibility. One of my biggest concerns (while choosing parts) right now is the graphics cards. I don't really care rather its NVIDIA or ATI, all I want is an easy installation that works well. I also don't really want to spent more than $75...

I was thinking one of the Nvidia GeForce 4xx or 2xx would do me nicely, but idk what works best with OSx86...

Thanks in advance,

I have used the following card on a few builds I have done. Not a heavy gamers card, but cheap and easy, easy, easy to install on a Hackintosh.

Use Bootloader 2 RC 5 and set the GraphicsEnabler=Yes in com.apple.boot.plist in /Extra folder. That's all you have to do for full compatibility.

GeForce 9500 GT 512MB
