Rippance
Hello everyone, Im quite a newb, so i've read lots of documentation prior installing 10.4.7. Still, I can't overcome this 1 problem. The installation from DVD went fine, no troubles at all... they came after the install . Following situation occurs: My system hangs while showing the apple logo. I also tried starting in verbose, it doesn't really show an error then. After the verbose mode I get a blank blueish screen. Anybody got a clue what I can do? My hardware: HP NC6120 notebook! Intel Pentium M 1.73 (dothan, SSE2) 512MB DDR Intel GMA900 integrated graphics AC'97 compitable sound I've burnt the ISO on a DVD+R. If anyone knows some sort of solution, that would be great! Thanks in advance & kind regards, Rippance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/26025-jas-1047-iso-after-install-hangs-on-boot/ Share on other sites
Rammjet
Try it after connecting an external monitor or a VGA dongle or the 2-wire trick: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?ac...ost&id=1522 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/26025-jas-1047-iso-after-install-hangs-on-boot/#findComment-176145 Share on other sites

Rippance
I've just tried booting while the laptop is attached to my Syncmaster 930BF. It didn't solve the problem. I also didn't get an image on my syncmaster (I guess thats not really an issue tho). I do see while being in verbose mode at booting that its launching "Crash Reporter". It also says "NetInfo connection failed for server 127.0.0.1/local." And a few messages about some drivers having no kernel dependency. EDIT: A second reboot might have solved something. It seems to boot now while the SyncMaster is attached! EDIT2: I forgot to thank you lads A big thank you!!
