leanderK
Hi all I've got a Lenovo Y560, i3 and a ATI 5470. After I Installed Mac OSX 10.6.3, I wanted to do the combo-update, but I got kernel panic ( http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=259803 / http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=259766), I found out that I used an outdated #####, but with the new, I couldn´t boot ( http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=259891 ). Finally I solved this iusse, too. But now, I can boot, but when I reach the desktop, I can only move my mouse, I can't click, I can't type. Any solutions??? //Edit: I have tried my build in keybord and an old external USB-Apple Keyboard, also trackpad and external usb mouse Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/259986-after-booting-with-iboot-cant-type-or-click-but-i-can-move-the-mouse-around/ Share on other sites
3.14r2
Obviously a proper PS/2 driver for keyboard is missing or it doesn't work. 3.14r2
Can't be, build in and usb keybord don't workBuild-in keyboards are usually (not always though) connected via PS/2, so a proper PS/2 driver is needed. If ANY usb device doesn't work, then there is something wrong with OS itself (with DSDT and/or some kexts are missing/corrupt etc...).
