DK-RendeR
I have an Asus Rampage III Gene motherboard that uses an ALC888 sound chipset (branded as "SupremeFX X-Fi 2"). I'm running Snow Leopard 10.6.7. I've been able to 'get by' with a VoodooHDA kext, though my experience has been less than stellar. I get kernel panics every 2nd or 3rd boot and certain games from Steam have big problems with audio. My biggest problem is horrible choppy audio while using Parallels and Windows 7. Anything relating to sound is brutal. Is there a kext for my onboard sound? I've tried a few from kexts.com and have had no luck so far. Please help! 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/259951-kext-for-alc888-supremefx-x-fi-2/ Share on other sites
