Hi all. I have got Snow Leopard 10.6.7 up and running but I'm still having a few problems.

When the system is vanilla safari works fine and itunes works (although I had no audio) but after I've played around with the graphics, they both crash.

Any help/suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated.

My install method is:

Install Snow Leopard retail 10.6.3 using ##### Legacy

Update to 10.6.7

Install ##### with ##### and System Utilities selected

Reboot using ##### Legacy

Install Legacy Kernel 10.6.7 (Can not boot from the hard drive without this)

Reboot and everything works but have no audio no LAN and resolution stuck on 1024 x 768

Installed LNXtoMACRTL81xx driver (this got my LAN working)

Removed all Gefore kexts and all NV kexts

Installed these kexts: http://www.kexts.com/view/923-nvidia_gefor..._nvenabler.html

Also installed HDAEnabler kext and Gigabyte ALC88b6Ch using #####

Reboot and Graphics are good and I can get 1280 x 1084 resolution

But my problem now is I can't test audio as iTunes won't play anything and Safari keeps crashing!!

My system is:

Gigabyte G41M ES2L rev 1.1 mobo

2x2gb ddr2 667 memory

Intel Pentium D 3.0ghz Processor

nVIDIA 8400 GS 512MB DDR2 Graphics card

Hitachi 1TB HD (partitioned as 500gb for Snow Leopard and 500gb free space)

Phillips Dual Layer dvd drive
