nikongeek
I know there are two other threads that I have seen with this same error on this forum, but both seemed to be only about ATI based video cards having this problem. Basically here's my graphics card specs... Chipset Model: GeForce4 MX 4000 Type: Display Bus: PCI VRAM (Total): 64 MB Vendor: nVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x0185 Revision ID: 0x00c1 Displays: Display: Resolution: 1024 x 768 @ 60 Hz Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Not Supported Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported This is the error I get when I try to launch the DVD player... {see attachment} I'm not sure what is causing it. I've tried it before upgrading the nVidia drivers and afterwards with the same error. Any help would be much appreciated. c-prompt
DVD playback doesn't work on nVidia cards as of yet. OpenGL is required to playback DVDs. If you want, you can use VLC, but you won't be able to play it too large otherwise there will be lagging.
