Hi guys,

today I got my XPC SG41J4 with the following hardware:

Core2Duo E6750

Nvidia Geforce 8400GS

500GB HHD WesternDigital

2GB Corsair 1333Mhz

DVD Drive

DLink DWL -G122

Now i want to install with my Retail OSX SL DVD, like http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2010/04/ibo...ac-os-x-on.html

The install process was a bit tricky, but finally i've done that:

I had to pull out the BIOS battery to reset CMOS and than lauch the installer with -x PCIRootUID=1 -v from #####

I installed OS X normally and in ##### appears my OS X SL Partition.

Now if I try to boot into, the boot hangs on:

kxld{com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement}: The following symbols are unresolved for this kext:
kxld{com.apple.driver.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement}:	_lapic_start
Can't load kext com.AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement - Link failed
...
FakeSMCDevice: 17 keys added
mbinit: done (64 MB memory set for nbuf pool)

Now when I shutdown, remove the powercable and plug out the BIOS battery, wait, and place the battery back,

I can boot into OSX with the params -x PCIRootUID=1 -v

but I have to do that every time I want to boot ...

Thats not fine, hope for help

Chris

Okay, now I am able to boot into SnowLeo, I don't know why, but it works.

Next problem, my Geforce 8400GS just give out 1024x768px and there are no other options, I think the right kext isn't loaded at startup.

I installed with the ##### installer the nvenabler and the Nvidia260... drivers.

Is there an other way to enable full support for my 8400GS?
