funkmasta
I just tried installing the Callisto 008 drivers and when I started up, at the apple screen, my display started to look like it was bleeding. A little bit strange, but I'd like to return to the 003 drivers that were working well without a reinstallation. Is there some method with which I can start OS X without the video drivers loading so I can repair my mistake? Styx Geist
I have kind of the same issue. I installed Macvidia drivers, which worked like a charm. However I selected a higher resolution in the preferences as you do, but because my oldish monitor couldn't run that resolution at 85 Hertz, I'm simply getting no video signal, and cant actually see anything in OSX each time I start it to be able to change back to either the lower resolution, or to drop my refresh rate. When you are at the Darwin prompt and it asks if you want to use any boot options, type "Graphics Mode"="1024x768x32@85" platform=ACPI or platform=X86PC This however doesn't work for me as it seems the Macvidia drivers are loaded after this point, and it still blanks my screen out. I would like to know if there is some sort of Console boot that I can get into to uninstall my Macvidia drivers temporarily.
