chasingcharlie
I've followed all the directions I can find and I've been unable to install Firefox on Mac x86 installation. I've uncompacked it, then dragged and dropped it on the hard drive. I've double clicked it ... You get the idea and I've been unable to find and use the application. Does anyone have a step-by-step way to do this? I'd like to use it rather than Safari ... thanks charlie Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/25947-firefox-problems-installing/ Share on other sites
Rammjet
Start with the Firefox disk image on your Desktop - it should be called something like Firefox 1.5.0.6.dmg Double click that. A window opens with the Firefox application inside. In the upper right of the window is a little button. Click that. Look on the left side of the window. You should now see a folder called Applications Drag the Firefox application from the main window and drop it into Applications Click on Applications. Find Firefox. Drag it to the Dock beside Safari.
