10.6.3 Install On Asus N53J

Hi, I Would just like to ask for help because for the past 2 weeks I have been trying to install SL on my sisters laptop because she needs it for homework. I have gotten stuck on the grey chameleon screen everytime I load up with the empire efi boot disc after I Insert my SL disc. Also I am using the legacy boot cd is this right or should I be using the normal one?

 

My system is a Asus N53J with an Intel Core I5-460M 2.53GHZ with a Nvidia GeForce GT 425M with 4GB ram and running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit.

 

I would just like to know what settings do I change on bios and what boot cd should I be using can someone help me with a step by step tutorial and which files to download and use to install snow leopard.

 

I have installed it on virtual box the same way and it worked but doing it on the actual laptop does not work.

 

So if someone could please help me I would be very grateful. Thank you in advance for your time in commenting and helping me.

try Nawcom boot cd ,using modbin kernel and retail SL . i got similar laptop got installed using modbin kernel, but audio, graphic and wifi still not work.
