Diagnosis card cpu-intel-core i5-760 16GB Dual-Channel DDR3 Memory Kit Vegeance Sapphire-ATI HD 4870x2 Please help me with installing video card. I tried many ways on netkas.org, tonymacx86.com and insanelymac.com and unfortunately none worked. My card does not work with qe / ci. I tried a ton of kext files and I did not work. Please tell me what the latest version of snow leopard with this card working full (qe / CI / resolution). Let me tell you what I tried. Dozens of installation until I got to learn how to delete video drivers from the terminal. Install the disk drive retail osx 10.6 snow leopard 10A432. Another option and the last one I tried is a Retail Mac OS X 10.6.3. I tried the latest combo update 10.6.7, 10.6.5, 10.6.3, and more. Installations have been successful with [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] 3.0.4 (latest build), and (also) [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] 3.7.3. From [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] I installed the following: -rebuil caches & repair permisions -0.2.56-vodoohda -ioahciblockstorageinjector -evoreboot -fakesmc -iousbfamily roolback -nullcpupowermenagement -Realtek gigabit ethernet-2.0.6 -v1.4.1-r877 chimera -Apple-32-bit boot screen -3.1-macpro -tonymacx86 remixed theme With this options from [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] my system booting successfully. For now the problems begin. How do I install video drivers? Resolution changed only with this pack 7_radeon_hd_48x0_drivers.pkg. Needle work I tried fresh install of 10.6.7 combo pack update 10.6,10.6.3 + and qe / but for 10.6.7. The result? Blue screen or lock on startup. iBdb Posted June 13, 2011 Share Posted June 13, 2011 Hi claudiud, After 10.6.3 & Apple graphics update mine work strait up with graphic enabler = Yes. QE-CI both rom's (no output from VGA). See my sig. Not sure about latest Chameleon with ATI personalities and it's effect as hack busy with family now it all stable & reliable.
