Hey guys, i been trying to install snow leaporad 10.6.3 using the iAtkos s3v2 for the past few days and have been unsuccessful so far. I really need some assistance to get this installed correctly.

Trust me, I have search the whole forum and Google for solution. I am successful installing the Snow Leopard, but when the OS boots, it just gets stuck at APPLE logo. Please provide me with some assistance to get this matter resolved. Thank you

 

My specs are

 

Quard Core Intel Q6600 2400 MHZ

Asus IPIBL-LB (Benicia) Mother Board

Intel Bearlake G33 Motherboard chipset

3GB Ram

Nvidia GeForce 8500 GT (256 MB)

Realtek AlC888/1200 @ Intel 8281IB ICH9 - High Definition Audio Controller

Intel Sata raid Storage Controller

Realtek RTL8168C/8111C PCI-E gigabit Ethernet NIC

USB Wireless 802.11 b/g adaptor

That doesn't tell you what is wrong. You must boot with -v (verbose mode) to actually see what is going on "behind the scenes" while it's booting.

 

I'm guessing its a SATA/IDE Controller error. At the boot prompt type -v and see where it stops.

Hello, Thank you for the response. I booted with the -v and this is what i've got.

It just keep saying "still waiting for root device"

thanks for the suggestion, i got it booted and running.However, my wifi hardware is not working. Can you please help me with that as I have no option to use a Ethernet cable; the router is in a different room.

Not without knowing what chipset it uses. What is it? Chipset?
