packysauce Posted August 27, 2006 Share Posted August 27, 2006 I'm setting 10.4.5 myzar on a dell b130 with a broadcom 4318 based truemobile 1370 wireless card and i have an odd-ass problem. i edited the io80211 kext to add in 14e4,4318 in the bcm kext and the driver loads fine. edited networkinterfaces.plist to enable the airport in system configuration and that port is enabled. HOWEVER, the fun begins when clicking the airport icon. it can't find any networks, encrypted or otherwise. I clicked "other" to specify the name of an open network, and the name and key of a WEP-64 network and both times when it is just about to connect, the computer hard locks. does anyone have any ideas? I am plum out of ideas and options. much love for anyone that helps. thanks in advance!
