Hi guys ! I'm frensh so please forgive me for my bad english ^^

I need some help to install Snow Leopard on a XPS 8300 which is compose of : an intel processor i7 2600 (3.4ghz quad core (3.8 in turbo mode)), an ATI radeon 6770 1gb (same as 5770), 6gb of ram and for the sound i only can read that : "integrated 7.1 with THX trustudio".

The problem is that i used to have an old AMD pc in which i installed OSX with many troubles but I never had so much trouble than this time even if it's an Intel processor.

I tried Hazard OSX dvd 10.6.6, but watever i try i always got kernels panic while booting due to the processor i think (i'm not sure) or the computer just restart when booting without i can read anything. I also tried the iPC 10.5.6 DVD but booting the dvd is impossible ("osx version not set yet"). Is there another dvd that could work with my configuration or is there some kext i can try, some patches ? I really wan't my hackintosh back i miss it now that my old computer is broken.

Thanks in advance for your help !

You're going to have to use a much later version of OS X. Snow Leopard at least (10.6.7 even). I'd try ##### and ##### @ tonymac.
