mrderp
Im currently running the Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS PCI on my hackintosh, and I get sound just fine but I'm not able to use any of the inputs. Im using the kxaudio kext for output but the inputs won't work. Ive been thinking about upgrading my sound card for a while now anyway, and I was wonder are there any that will work with mac right out the box? USB or not it doesn't matter either way. Just want something that'll work correctly. If there is an easy fix for my current card that'd be even better. My machine is a Dell XPS Gen 4, if that helps at all. 3.14r2
To my knowledge KXaudio doesn't support any input (either Mic or Line In). A PCI-E (not PCI or PCI-X - these ain't gonna work) HD Audio compatible card might work (not OOTB though). An USB sound card should work fine (I have bought a cheapest one just to test - it works).
