Just to start off, my name is Aaron and I am new to the Hackintosh but I have found my way around. The computer I've attempted to Snow Leopard on is a Toshiba A205-4587 (specs below). The install will work successfully but when it comes time to installing any kext, upon reboot the computer crashes and I get the "gray screen of death" as it is seems to be called in the Mac world.

The .iso I used to install Snow Leopard was IATKOS s3 v2 which I then transferred to a disk. The options I selected was Voodoo HDA, GMA 950 27A2, and Chameleon 2.0 RC5 and deselected default bootloader and Apple HDA. All other options were left at default. So after it boots, it does not detect my keyboard and trackpad as expected because I did not install the driver (if I did, it would crash or give the gray screen of death). So I use the keyboard and mouse from my desktop PC to proceed through the steps then I enter the desktop of the Mac OS. Everything works fine with my keyboard and mouse from the desktop PC and it will shut down and start perfectly. I then proceed to install Kext Wizard 3.6 so I can install some necessary drivers (i.e., laptop keyboard and trackpad). Once that is installed I install this kext: http://www.kexts.com/view/841-ps-2_support.html as Voodoo PS/2 just doesn't work at all after many times of trying. When it installs the kext in the link provided, my laptop keyboard and mouse work perfectly! Now when I shut down the computer and reboot, it will crash (It did this also when I attempted to install any other kext after doing clean installs each time). I attempted to delete the kext in single user but it didn't work. So I did a clean install again and I am just hoping someone can help me. I do not plan on installing any other kext until someone proposes other ideas from what I did.

Hey, I just finish a successful installation in my Toshiba Satellite A105-S4114, after some weeks! Hehe!!

I've your problem in the beginning, then I booted with -x -v and removed all Graphics kexts and installed a properly kext for the Intel GMA 950 graphics card. Google for it! Then the gray screen gone! Try this and we talk in forum!
