a3yu Posted June 4, 2011 Share Posted June 4, 2011 Hi all, i've just installad an ati 5670 hd 1 Gb ddr5 (asus). After a lot of work , i turned on QE and CI . Now i've got a big problem!! before using this gpu , audio worked well, now it see only hdmi output . i've found a guide : write voodooHDASkipDevice ....etc etc.. i followed it but it doesn't work. pls i need help to make it working!! So.. i installed snow leo in my acer 4745g with ati mobility 5470 gpu. same problem with you the os cannot read my onboard audio wich is ALC269. i tried voodooHDA and and codec dump shows the hdmi codec not the alc 26. i tried VoodooHDA SKipDevice too to skip my hdmi audio but the kexts wont work. I think we can disable this HDMI from DSDT edit.. mostly ppl want to enable their hdmi audio works and it can be done with DSDT edit..
