tamorgen Posted June 3, 2011 Share Posted June 3, 2011 I cracked my laptop screen on my Dell 14z. I ordered a new laptop screen online, and received it. When I boot up, the Apple logo shows up just fine, but when I get to the OS, the resolution is all out of whack. I can't get it to detect any resolution correctly. I'm getting white lines inbetween piexels, and it's just plain ugly. Does anybody have a suggestion on how to force OSX to recognize the new LCD screen?
