I like to read and write to my "MEDIA-HDD" from WIN7 and SL(10.6.7).

Its a Raid1 consisting of two 1TB Spinpoint F3.

(The Win7 and OSX Systems are each on 2 separate HDDs.)

I formated it to NTFS and installed Paragon NTFS for MacOSX, which enables OSX to read NTFS natively.

With SoftwareRaid Configurations the other Sytem does not locate it as an RAID1. (But as two separate HDs)

I wonder if a Hardware Raid Card would solve this Problem?

Any software RAID will not be recognized in other OS then it was created in (Windows software RAID will not be available in OS X and vice versa) as it is OS emulated thing.

Hardware RAID (provided that there are drivers for both OSs) will be visible and usable by both OSs. Hardware RAID (not the host adapters but a real hardware RAID controller) is much more reliable then any software RAID. Performance wise hardware RAID is better option too.

BTW there are Apple created NTFS drivers in BootCamp package provided with any retail OS X Snow Leopard DVD. By default it is in read-only mode. I strongly recommend not to use Paragon software. It is known to be unstable.
