dark4codrutz Posted June 2, 2011 Share Posted June 2, 2011 For the beginning my specs are : Processor : AMD Sempron LE-1200 2.1 Ghz ( oc-ed at 2.46 ) Ram : 3 GB Mobo : Asrock ALiveNF6G-GLAN Video card : onboard nvidia 6150se 256mb Audio : realtek alc662 HD Chipset : nforce 430 I have tried to install : iAktos S3 v2 ; iDeneb ; Kalyway ; iAktos v7 ( installed but won't boot ) With other 2 I had better results : Leo4All v3 ( installed , once I was able to hear the sound of the osx tutorial , but no video ... only the verbose mode white text ) And the last one was from this guide in italian ( http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=80193 ) I installed it .. it boots but it gives me only a gray background and the black cursor , nothing else ( no log in screen ) So , please someone who know what disto is the best for me .. or who know were i was wrong ... please help me Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/258339-need-help-with-what-to-install-and-some-post-installation-problems/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

So do not select any video driver options in the Install DVD customise menu as do so will prevent you booting properly to the Welcome screen and Desktop......... Can you set AHCI or SATA Controlle mode in BIOS to [Enable]..........? A good Leopard distro for AMD CPU MOBOs is the LawlessPPC 10.5.4 distro......it will be very helpful to have a working Leopard system before you attempt to install Snow Leopard.......so seach IM and also use Google to get more AMD CPU specific help......
