MY sys config, AMD 3200+ venice ASUS A8N vm Graphics Chipset Mother Board(Nvidia) 120 GB SATA 40 GB IDE (for Mac ) 1GB DDR RAm i have 10.4.6 hot iso.... i just tried boot directely... but i got the error... like this unable to find driver for this platform:ACPI after that... i tried with vmware workstation.... there also i got the error... check out the attchement picture's i have 2 HDD so... one 4 xp)120GB SATA another one 40GB for (mac) i tried boot directely the bootabale dvd.... but... i got the error... so.. can anyone help me to install.... successfully.... thanks.. Rammjet Posted August 26, 2006 Share Posted August 26, 2006 The "SAM Multimedia" error means there is something wrong with the DVD or DVD reader and data is not flowing properly. Try reburning the DVD at the slowest speed possible and if available, use different brand or type of media (dvd-r, dvd+r, dvd-rw, dvd+rw). If this doesn't work, then the problem is with the DVD reader. Try updating the firmware or borrow another device from somewhere.
