OK, I've managed to extract the DSDT but have been unable to patch it using the auto patcher. Doesn't seem to want to work in windows. I'm just not sure what to do with it now. I'm more than happy to upload the extracted clean DSDT file if anyone else would like it, but I'm way out of my depth here. I got os x 10.6.6 running on my dell vostro 1500, but I didn't have to do anything with the DSDT file for that.

I might do some more digging on the net and see if I can find some more pointers

if you upload your DSDT I guess we could help you.

with errors you can't compile it without using the force flag from iasl.
the autopatcher does not make use of the force flag ; )

I'd suggest you just extract the dsdt with the dsdt editor patcher unfixed! save it as dsl, zip it + upload here.

I'm sorry, I tried to fix it have but no good way for that,
looks like this DSDT (with Core i5) is not 100% patchable at the moment, this is your thread, watch it »

Try this if you want.

With this you should be able to remove LegacyRTC, Disabler, NullCPUPower kexts from E/E.

If you're using VoodooHDA and AppleHDA panics, then remove AppleHDA.kext from S/L/E or Add AppleHDADisabler.

Use bootloader chamaleon RC5 and add the GeneratePStates and GenerateCStates to com.apple.Boot.plist in E/E.

Try with Imac11,1 smbios.plist from #####.

It's my suggestion to you :(

Give it a try and tell us how it went.
