Hi,

I succeed in installing SL on Dell Inspiron 1750

The method used is SnowLeo 10.6.2 using these customizations :

Bootloader : Chameleon RC3

Chipset : LegacyAHCI

Video : Intel GMA4500

Audio : LegacyHDA

System Patch : ApplePS2, AppleRTC

Notebook : VoodooPS2

Upgrade to 10.6.7 was successfull

Not working : Wifi, (BCM4312) even after bcm43-enabler

Not tested : bluetooth, audio recording

Graphic resolution is 1440x900, video viewing seems ok with MPlayer OSX Extended ( not tested enterely, may be video/sound de-synchronisation )

Webcam is working !

Trackpad and keyboard are OK ...

Sound is working but changing volume with keyboard don't

USB OK, external HDD recognized and fully accessed, as well as USB Printer

Ethernet is OK

Feel free to ask for lspci or other report

Two minor questions :

** i can't configure my true french keyboard ( keys such as @,! are not in the correct place, letters and numbers are OK) ;

** spotify don't find anything

That's all for now

Marc

Hi Marc

I have an Inspiron 1750. Can you give me a detailed account of how to do this.

I have never done a Hackintosh before.

I would like to dual boot with win 7 if possible. ;)

Regards

Tiernan
