ldiqual Posted May 22, 2011 Share Posted May 22, 2011 Hello ! I'm have some troubles trying to configure a Powercolor HD 4850 512mb DVI/VGA/HDMI with SL 10.6.7. From a basic iAtkos v2 s3 (10.6.3), I only get a gray screen with some artefacts and no mouse. I can boot with +x. After updating to 10.6.7 with apple combo, I set up netkas QE_CI exotic cards which contains my device-id. I only get a black screen, on every port. I know some people succeeded in configuring it, but no one bothered to clearly explain how he did. So I'm refering to your experience and advices and I hope you'll be able to help me out. I was able to get it working with QE/CI at 1920x1080, but it can only display on HDMI port with a HDMI->DVI cable: - Install iAtkos v2 s3 with PC_EFI 10.6 bootloader - Update to 10.6.7 Apple Combined Update - Run [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] and select ATI 48xx Device Injector + ATI 48xx Patch (from graphic driver section) and Apple Boot Screen (from Boot options section).
