smallgreen
Hi everyone, I'm new to OSX on x86 and have got as far as putting the tiger-x86-flat.img on a 20GB disk and booting my PC from it but it hangs. When I use the -v switch it hangs after this. RTc: invalid device register map Apple16x50ACPI1: unidentified serial port on ACPI device=UAR1 Apple16x50ACPI1: unidentified serial port on ACPI device=UAR2 Apple16x50UARTSync1: detected 16550AF/C/CF FIFO=16 Maxbaude=115200 Apple16x50UARTSync2: detected 16550AF/C/CF FIFO=16 Maxbaude=115200 kextd [39]: kld_load_from_memory () failed for module /System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlatform.kext/Contents/Plugins/AppleACPIDisplay.kext/Contents/MacOS/AppleACPIDisplay kextd [39]: a link load error occured for kernal extension /System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlatform.kext/Contents/Plugins/AppleACPIDisplay.kext Display: match category IOFramebuffer exists Would this be to do with my ATI 9200 LE 128MB card. I see other people on the forum are using this card with no boot problems. What am I missing? My system is; Mobo: Asus P4PE Chipset: 845PE Processor: P4 2.4GHz Can someone point me in the right direction please?
