FelaFe Posted May 15, 2011 Share Posted May 15, 2011 Hey , my name is Felix and I´m new in this Forum . I´m from Germany so please forgive me for the bad englisch. I successfuly installed Hazards Snow Leopard 10.6.2 on my Dell Dimension 9200 and also on my HP Pavilion m9242. I´m wanna use my HP Hackintosh for music production at my studio but I´m not able to get the firewire chipset to work . The firewire chipset is a "LFW3227" modell and it´s on the mainboard IPIBL-LB (Benicia) . If it helps , I wanna use an Phonic Helix Board 24 Universal mixing console on it . I really hope for any tips to get my firewire ports to work . I attached a picture from the System Profiler Firewire section .
