yourAlf Posted May 14, 2011 Share Posted May 14, 2011 Hi folks! 10.6.7 currently works fine in my girlfriends Aspire 5920. Some Issues: - The CD Drive giving a noise regularly (every <5 minutes). Similar to the noise, when you start a Macbook. - The trackpad command "tap" cannot be used properly. I've disabled it (now she uses the hardware buttons, which is quite annoying to her) -is there any change to run the webcam with skype, facetime...? After installing the anyisight kext file, I've downloaded this from the and installed all kext files - exept the VoodooHDA (causing error!)- with [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url]. Now it works (Skype & Facetime). So I only need to find out which kext files are used by cd/dvd-drive causing a loading noise every 2-3 minutes! any ideas?
