imithos
Hi everyone! I'm trying to install Snow Leopard on my L500, but I have some problems, if you help me I'll be very gratefull... The Specs of the L500-246: Intel Core i3 2,13GHz ATi Mobility Radeon 4650 Working things by default Multitouch trackpad Sound USB Shutdown/Sleep/Restart Thats's I do: 1. First of all, I launch the install with ##### Legacy in "-x" mode 2. I install Snow Leopard Normally and all appears to be okay 3. In the first boot (With ##### Legacy) I start in "-s" mode and I use this commands: "mount -uw /" "rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/ATI*" "rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/IOPlatformPluginFamily.kext" - That's because when I install the combo update in OS X a Kernel Panic appear "rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions.mkext" "rm -rf /System/Library/Caches/*" 4. And now, I start Macintosh, I insert a DVD with the 10.6.7 combo update and the installation is sucesfull Without restarting, I open ##### and select Chameleon with ATI support as bootloader The Problem: When I restart the computer Chameleon don't appears! I only can start the system again with the CD of ##### Legacy! I'm Hopeless PD: Sorry for the English Here's a video... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxLVuGg0WWA
