Still Waiting for Root Device. Iatkos s3 v2 Plzz Help

I have a dell vostro 200

with intel core 2 duo 2.4 ghz

and 3gb ram

i installed mac os x snow leopard but when i try to boot i get a spinning wheel and then an error sign.

after i went on boot options and a chose verbose boot and i keep getting Waiting for root device PLzzz help

 

I have 2 sata hard drives. one is 250gb and the other is 500gb

i partitioned 500 gb and now i have 250gb 450gb and 50gb(has mac os x installed)

did i do something wrong PLzz help

Try to use a different distro-I think it means your hardware isnt supported. But, if you have ahci option in bios turn that on and see if it works. It happened for me in ideneb so i used iatkos and worked fine. Also, check to see if your onboard lan is disabled, if not disable it in the bios.
