ATI mobility HD 3470 and resolution

Hi guys, Im trying to change the resolution and installing the proper drivers for my graphics card but i havent succeded.

 

Ive tryed putting this on the proper file but didnt work.

<string>1280×1024×32</string>

 

Did sudo and the same, I went to preferences and then Chameleon to try and change the res and still the same. How can I change the resolution and Install ATI mobility radeon HD 3470?????
