dibalaj1234
Hello first i want to tell you is that I'm from Czech Republic, so sorry for my English I have Lenovo ThinkPad Z61t notebook, and I'm running iAtkos v7 10.5.8 (updated) Leopard on it. I wanted to update to Snow Leopard, so i burned DVD with S3 v2. Booting from S3 v2 DVD was very slow, but i installed it. After install i booted the system, but i stuck on apple logo. I hear the music from SL post-installation forms, but on screen is only apple logo and the freezed loading circle. I didn't know if I can install any Kernel, so I didn't select them. I have a GMA950 graphics card. Can any of you help me? With installation? Or with selection of osx86 patches and kexts. PLEASE :-) Can a kernel do that i can't have a working graphcs card? Or I'm not able to install S3 v2 on my NTB. I will be happy if any of you will help me. Did you select GMA950 in the Drivers section? Drivers -> VGA -> Intel -> GMA 950 There are two options under GMA950. If you don't know which card you have, you'll have to try each one separately. Also, at boot after installation, type -v on the command line to get into verbose mode so you can see what messages are displayed during boot. dibalaj1234
Yes, I installed the GMA 950 driver. I dont have any ideas how to make the graphics card working. But the strange is, that on iAtkos v7 is all of my hardware working. But on Snow Leopard doesn´t. Any ideas how to fix that? Will installing any of the kernels help me? Has got the same on Nawcom’s BootCD + 10.6.3 Retail DVD on hp Compaq 6910p with my x3100. GraphicsEnabler=Off at bootloader screen works for me. If it will rocks for you, change boot.plist. NightOps
@dibalaj1234: did you boot with the -v switch? This was mentioned previously, but you never responded. This will put the system into Verbose mode, and might give you further insight to see if something isn't initializing properly/fully.
