VITUSH
Hi there, on following system: ASUS P7P55D Intel P55 chipset Core i5 750 8GB RAM ATI HD5870 I cant boot the installation DVD. I have these distros: v5i, v7, S3v2 - same problem with all of them. When I boot without any options, apple logo will show up for a less then a second and will system reboot If I put following flags: -x -v cpus=1 maxmem=2048 busratio=20 System will start to load files for a while and then kernel panic. Ive read some guides for core i5 even core i3 so I thought there wont be a problem. Here are my BIOS settings (only those I think are relevant for my problem): BIOS settings reset to default (had OC) Storage configured as AHCI SATA C1E on, Intel Virtualization on, speedstep on, Intel Turbomode on, Intel c-state on, (same result when disabling these) ACPI 2.0 support off, ACPI APIC support on Is there anything wrong with my bios configuration? Or problem is incompatibility with my hardware? Please help Thanks here is my detailed system configuration: http://computer.own.cz/Report.htm Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/256224-iatkos-s3v2-reboot-loop/ Share on other sites

Perhaps read through these two guides to see if there are any tricks required to get booted: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=244364 http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=199411 Edit: also this guide: http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1172 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/256224-iatkos-s3v2-reboot-loop/#findComment-1678296 Share on other sites
