Rufus Sweetwater
I am wanting to install snow leopard on my Compaq Presario V2000 laptop (yes it's old, i know) and the closest guide i could find was this Presario V4000 guide. I followed the guide as best i could, making changes if needed, but im not sure im doing it right... I was able to successfully install leopard great, but after i hit the chameleon boot screen, it just stalls on a blue screen and does nothing. i believe it has to be a driver and KEXT issue but im not sure what the best drivers i should use. My point is; How do i get Snow Leopard (10.6.x) to run on my compaq Presario V2000? Its old, trash, has about 500mb RAM in it with a Intel Celeron M in it. im just wanting this till i can afford another mac compatible laptop thats much more decent than this trash.
