Gchar
So, i've updated from 10.6.1 to 10.6.6 done everything with sleep enabler all kexts and all other things that got on the internet, but after bootup i get a kernel panic! After booting with verbose, i found where the bootup stops. it says: dsmos: Using dict Settings_6 panic(cpu........)........................................ (yeah typically all the stuff of the kernel panic) So, what the heck is dsmos?! and what is dsmos: Using dict Settings_6 and how do i fix this error without having to re-install again from time machine backup which takes time? Btw i have a Secondary small bootable version of 10.6.0 which has 1GB free(yes very small partition), which i have there to use if anything happens so i can fix all these type of errors there. Keep in mind that i am kind of a noob.I don't understand clearly all those stuff with apple.com.plist and codes and dsmos and ebios...... (i mean i am not that type of geek.More like a noob:P) Will i have to install or uninstall a kext? Thanks for reading!
