Hi

I´m using VMware Workstation 7.1.4 on Windows 7 64bit with an i7 2600k. I enabled Virtualisation in the BIOS an patched with Albert's Unlocker. I also added

cpuid.1.eax = "0000:0000:0000:0001:0000:0110:1010:0101"

for my CPU.

I´m able to boot the OSX DVD (original) an the Setup detects my Drive successful, but if I start the Setup it runs a few minutes and 10 min before its finished the pops up an Windows dialog:

unrecoverable error: (vmx)Exception 0xc0000005 (access violation) has occurred....

After that massage the virtual machine suddenly shuts down.

vmware.log

Mac OS X Server 10.5 64-bit.vmx

I hope you could help me ... :)

Max,

You appear to have selected Leopard from the install wizard (10.5), but your media is 10.6, re-run the wizard and select 10.6, then see how you progress.
