iNoiZ
Hello Guys, long time reader, new poster. I've been building Hackintosh systems for about 3 years now and have learned a lot, but I'm stuck with this one problem on this relic of a computer that I've build for my parents. I'm wondering if someone can help me out with this, I don't know what else to do to fix this. The relic specs are: Asus P5GD1-VM Motherboard Pentium 4 3ghz 1GB RAM 1 WD 250GB SATA HDD (2 partitions, 1 system partition and 1 storage partition) 1 WD 80GB IDE HDD (Used for Time Machine) 1 LG IDE DVD Burner Nvidia 265Mb 6600 Video Card I installed HAZARD 10.6.6 distro, everything works pretty well. Chameleon Bootloader Audio works using Voodoo HDA 2.6.2 USB, Shut Down and Restart all work. LAN works using Intel 10/100 with DSTS Patcher right from the Distro. I was screwing around with this system for two weeks now and it's frustrating. On the Distro there is no INTEL SATA/IDE Controller, so I installed using AppleNForce as that was the only thing that worked, trust me I have tried to install with all the different Chipset and Sata/Pata controllers on that disrto. The only thing that worked to get a full install without kernel Panic was using, AppleNForce and AHCISataFix. Now I now that those are not relevant to the Chipset of the motherboard, but some how it worked. So here is the Problem: The motherboard does NOT support AHCI, so in the BIOS I have SATA + PATA Enhanced Mode, when I check the Console Error Log it keep coming up with this: 11-04-28 7:13:41 AM com.apple.launchd[1] *** launchd[1] has started up. *** 11-04-28 7:13:49 AM com.apple.DumpPanic[38] 2011-04-28 07:13:49.964 DumpPanic[38:107] Error getting a reference to IODeviceTree:/options 11-04-28 7:13:49 AM com.apple.launchd[1] (com.apple.DumpPanic[38]) Exited with exit code: 1 11-04-28 7:14:07 AM com.apple.UserEventAgent-LoginWindow[90] ALF error: cannot find useragent 1102 11-04-28 7:14:07 AM com.apple.UserEventAgent-LoginWindow[90] plugin.UserEventAgentFactory: called with typeID=FC86416D-6164-2070-726F-70735C216EC0 11-04-28 7:14:07 AM com.apple.launchd.peruser.501[102] (com.apple.ReportCrash) Falling back to default Mach exception handler. The system just keeps randomly Freezing. Any ideas, help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. PS: I'm not a coder and not very good at editing kexts or adding any code anywhere.
