Does ATI HD 4850 512M GDDR3 PCI-E DUAL DVI-I/TVO Works on Hackintosh

Am fed up of trying to run ATI HD 4850 512M GDDR3 PCI-E DUAL DVI-I/TVO on hackintosh

 

I tried till the end but still my ATI HD 4850 512M GDDR3 PCI-E DUAL DVI-I/TVO seems not working

 

Some forum says yes some says No

 

What is the truth does ATI HD 4850 512M GDDR3 PCI-E DUAL DVI-I/TVO really works on hackintosh or Not ,there is still an (?) on my mind

 

I used iATKOS S3 V2 10.6.3 to Setup , Setup worked fine till 100%

 

After reboot ATI HD 4850 512M GDDR3 PCI-E DUAL DVI-I/TVO was not supported

 

So I used my old Graphic Card Ge-force 6200

 

It helped to run well all resolution worked good till (1920 x 1080)

 

The problem in this graphic card is... , It is too old and there is disturbance on display

 

I tried updating the software to 10.6.7

 

I restarted after installation I put my ATI HD 4850 512M GDDR3 PCI-E DUAL DVI-I/TVO back

 

It worked but not fully ,resolution was till (1024 x 768)

Use Clean Install

Update to 10.6.7

 

and...

 

1- use the kext legacyati4800controller.kex (E/E or S/L/E)
