Karan Gaba Posted April 25, 2011 Share Posted April 25, 2011 Hey guys i wanted to find out how to upgrade my Mac Leopard 10.5.5 (iatkos v5) to snow leopard ? i have read the guides which use the retail dvd and a usb pen drive n stuff.. it sounds complicated im a NOOB !!... i'd prefer not to do that... i downloaded iatkos s3 v2 and tried to run it inside my leopard hack but it needs a GUID partition table which i dont have (as i am running a dual boot between XP and Leopard).. so im guessing i have an MBR partition table right ?.. almost forgot !!! i have used the tboot method for dual booting between xp and leopard !! i guess this is important.. i used this guide - http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...DualBoot_10.5.2 only apart from kalway i used iatkos v5 long story short 1. have MBR system with XP and Leopard 2. want to upgrade leopard to snow leopard 3. prefer not to do a fresh install 4. prefer not to use the usb pen drive method 5. have iatkos s3 v2 snow leopard install disk my system specs :- Intel D945GCPE motherboard (Onboard stuff - Realtek Lan card, Intel GMA950 Graphics chipset) Intel Dual Core 1.6Ghz processor 4GB DDR2 Trancend RAM 500 GB sata HD (partition 1 - windows xp pro 50gb NTFS, partition 2 - Mac Os X Leopard 50gb Journaled, Partition 3 - Data 380 gb NTFS) Samsung DVD RW sata PLZ HELP !!! need SL !!
