ant.one
hi! i have a small but annoying issue with my osx86 installation (latest snow leopard): my dvd drive (LG) is kinda...accessed...every few seconds. the light is blinking and it makes a short noise (as if it was trying to read a disc) then this stops. a few seconds later: same thing. this is permanent and therefore quite annyoing. has anyone experienced this and knows a solution? thank you all the best Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/255518-dvd-drive-activated-every-few-seconds/ Share on other sites

Dellmantt
Sleep is problematic on Hacks. Personally I don't see any benefit other than on a laptop on battery power, so I don't use it. Not knowing what hardware you have (you don't list it) makes it hard for anyone to help with that sort of question. Suggest you search for topics that list your hardware, OS X version and sleep.
