P5Q Pro Turbo L1E Networking problems

So i've been having this problem ever since I got my system up and running a few months ago. I installed AttansicL1eEthernet.kext and its been buggy. I could download something for instance. 270 mb big or so then my network drops and it just dies.. it says i still have IP address and whatnot but I have no connectivity. I can turn off the network card.. turn it back to DHCP and then it goes to 169.xx.xx.xx and I have to reboot to get connectivity back. Its been tickin me off and i'm wondering what i've done wrong! Is there a way to modify these kexts in any way or anything like that.

 

I hope someone has some insight to this problem. I've been going through the forums for months and can't seem to stir up any results that work!
