Oscar Thompson
I have recently been trying to install OS X 10.5 or above on my PC. I have used Ideneb, Kalyway and Iatkos but to no luck. jaS 10.4.8 is the only one to run on my hardware but does not meet my needs. (garage band, New apps etc.) I have Ideneb working on one of my other computers. I was also recommened hazard 10.6.1 But If I try to install it the computer restarts after the darwin loader, I have tried most of the boot flags. My hardware is: Gigabyte GA-8IG1000 PRO G Socket 478 Pentuim 4 3.00ghz 1gb RAM 150gb Maxtor HD Would anyone know what distrubuter might work? Many Thanks Oscar Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/255404-snow-leopard-install-on-478-motherboard/ Share on other sites
Gringo Vermelho
I don't normally like to recommend distros but; Since you had luck with a JaS Tiger distro, maybe "JaS 10.5.4 Client Server" (not the accurate title but it should be enough to get you some google hits) will work for you.
