What's up, guys?

I've been trying to install Mac OS X Snow Leopard Retail 10.6.3 on my PC. (I bought the original Mac OS X DVD in the Apple Store)

I tried several things such as using hundreds of Bios configurations and trying different bootloaders ( Empire EFI, BOOT 132, and NAWCOM, which has support for 2 TB Drives.)

I'm stuck on "Still waiting for root device", or sometimes "CPU PANIC (0....) "

My System specs are:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700

Intel DG41 G41 Motherboard Classic Series

ASUS DVD-RW (SATA)

2 x 2048 Kingston 1066 Mhz Memory

XFX NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT

1 x HDD 2 TB (SAMSUNG) (SATA) (Windows 7 already installed)

1 x HDD 500 GB (WD) (SATA) (Here's where I want to install OS X) (ACTIVE)

BTW, my BIOS settings ( under the Device Tab ) are setting to NATIVE and SATA only,

But if you need it I can upload a screenshot of my BIOS. My boot priority is 1st DVD, 2nd HDD1 and 3rd HDD2.

I'd really appreciate any kind of help, I don't know what else can I try...

Thank you very much

Have you / or is there a HPET setting? Is it set? Another thing I found out, is that on my machine I had to wipe the destination drive (Not format it, that you do in OSX). I used Acronis to wipe the disk in Windoze. Then I set the 'clean' drive as the first drive to boot after the optical drive. Then the Windoze drive - or even better disconnect it for the install. Make sure you have no PCI cards in your PC and nothing on your USB ports except the mouse and keyboard. I then used Nawcom's utility. When the red apple appears, swap out the Nawcom boot disk with your retail OSX disk and hit F5 after a few seconds. You can now format your 'clean' drive from within OSX. I'm sure you have a guide on this. If not I can post a link for you. I'm stuck on my install - I cannot get my hackintosh to boot from the hard drive at this instant.

Good luck.

Zoe
