Hallo all i just wanted to say finally got sound working on this motherboard without the hissing sound .

This is how i did it .

Download ##### and Kext helper b7.

with ##### install voodoohda 0.2.72 also click system Utilities . (klik your speakers of because you will get a lot of noise )

Now copy voodoohda.kext from s/l/e to youre desktop.

Right klick on it and klick on show package contents .

and open up the info.plist . I use property list editor installed with Xcode (can be found on your install disk)

expend IOKitPersonalities/voodooHDA/MixerValues you will see iGain set to a number make it 0 and save the file.

Now install the voodooHDA.kext back with Kext Helper B7

If it wend well go to audio midi setup en set your output to (mine is line-out (green rear) ) 48khz 2ch-16bit

(i have everything on those setting ad the moment)

Also mute the microphone in in midi settings and in normal sound settings drag the slider all the way down if it isn't already

Reboot the pc and go into your bios and disable c1e and boot osx and your sound should be working .

got this working on snowleopard 10.6.7

Don't ask me how to enable 5.1 or something like that im already happy i got stereo now
