eloquentsnow
Hello, I am trying to install Hazard's SSE2/SSE3 Snow Leopard 10.6.1 - 10.6.2 on a dv6000. The dv6000 has the following specs: Intel Centrino Duo -- ~2ghz 140gb HDD (SATA) 2gb RAM (I think) Video card unknown (this notebook is not mine, and finding the specs online didn't work out :/) ^ Most likely integrated Intel graphics, GMA something Sound Card unknown (generic intel one again, probably) Standard DVD/CD Drive Standard SD Card Reader Wireless Card (Unknown again. Sorry!) I tried installing, but after it finished installing, it got to the main apple screen with the spinning status ring, and then gave me a kernel panic. I believe this was a result of me not choosing the correct install options. All the options were unchecked (kexts, i heard they were called?), and I randomly selected a few that I felt were necessary (10.6.1 update, 10.6.2 combo update, EFI Bootloader v5, and some others). Can anybody point me in the right direction? I feel that I am close to the solution! If anybody needs more information, then I will gladly do some digging and try to come up with as much info. as possible. Thanks guys!
